Join Chef Jessica as we launch a new type of popular cooking class – Cookbook Club!?ÿ Here we will explore new and noteworthy cookbooks that should be part of your cooking library.?ÿ To launch this series, we are starting with an excellent book.?ÿ?ÿSix Seasons: A New Way With Vegetables?ÿis not only from celebrated local chef Joshua McFadden, but also speaks to the same mission we have at The Kitchen: cook and eat foods when they are at the peak of their season.
We will explore his recommendations for how to build the best “larder” for enhancing your dishes, make some basic go-to recipes to have on hand in your kitchen to make delicious meals quickly, and choose some recipes that celebrate the best coming out of the gardens at Middleground Farms.

On the menu…..grilled ciabatta with peperonata ~ corn fritters with pickled chilies ~ greens with torn croutons and pancetta vinaigrette ~ risotto with shell beans, sausage and bitter greens ~ carrot pie in a pecan crust
