Fall Harvest: Apples to Apples

All things apples this fall!
What are you doing to kick off October and all things that beckon cooler weather and warm flavors? We hope joining us in our cozy kitchen as we sear, roast, blend, and braise the best of this beautiful time of year. With a focus on the Hood River valley's beautiful apple harvest, we will celebrate fall while introducing cooking techniques that will last year round. Learn to caramelize butter into a heady, nutty sauce with apples for tender braised pork. You'll learn a great use of your cast iron pan in a twist on a classic dessert, and even enjoy the perfect condiment: bacon apple jam!
Class culminates in a family-style meal around our beautiful barnwood tables. Enjoy a glass of wine, beer, or a non-alcoholic beverage upon arrival and another with dinner.
