Farmer’s Market to Table – Cooking Experience
Join Chef Jessica as we delight ourselves with a field trip to our local Lake Oswego Farmers Market! We’ll meet at the entrance and take a tour, selecting what looks best to take back to The Kitchen. Maybe we’ll see something that you’ve never worked with, and grab that too!
After the market, Class will resume at the Kitchen for a?ÿdelicious, family style meal, around our beautiful, barn wood tables.
You’ll master a few techniques like how to properly balance a vinaigrette and making a quick pesto, opening up many possibilities when you peruse your pantry and pair it with your market basket. In addition, you’ll learn about basic knife skills, what pantry staples you must have, and we’ll create recipe’s together inspired by the market!
Note, this class will start at the Lake Oswego Farmers market, then all students will travel to The Kitchen to prepare and enjoy the meal!
