Plant Based Meals: Fall Harvest I Cooking Class
A diet rich in things from the earth is not just for vegetarians, but many of us are only comfortable with the basics of meat & potato cookery. Join us as we gain inspiration from the first fall vegetable harvest, and learn how to each a rich, filling, satisfying plant based diet. Together we’ll give depth to cauliflower soup by roasting the cauliflower first and topping it with a fresh, homemade chive oil. We’ll make a rustic free-form galette filled with kale and hearty wild mushrooms. We’ll whir together a rich white bean puree with warm, spiced roasted carrots.
Finally, we’ll get decadent and fry crispy fritters filled with the last corn of the season.
Class culminates in a?ÿdelicious, family style meal, around our beautiful, barn wood tables.
On the menu are dishes such as…cumin-roasted carrots with spiced white beans ~ roasted cauliflower soup with chive oil ~ kale and wild mushroom galette ~ mascarpone sorbet with ginger plum compote ~
Enjoy a glass of wine or beer upon arrival and another with dinner! All non-alcoholic beverages are also included!
