Tamale Fiesta!
Feliz Navidad! Join us for a “tamalada” ~ a tamale party where we will work together to make a traditional Hispanic Christmas fiesta.?ÿ ?ÿTamales are super versatile, gluten free, and freeze well – so having this skill fill your freezer with real homemade food throughout the winter!?ÿ In class, we’ll mix together corn masa and stuff it with a variety of fillings inside corn husk parcels. We’ll also make a couple of sauces to accompany our perfectly steamed tamales, including a creamy tomatillo sauce that pairs perfectly with smoky chicken adobo and charred corn. Get your filling and folding hands ready, we have tamales to make, and maybe a new tradition!?ÿ Class culminates in a family style meal around our beautiful barnwood tables.
